Ciate London is a brand I have wanted to try for ages now, I have tried the nail products in the past but not any of their makeup, But when these Glow – to highlighters come out I Knew I had to try them, I mean hello this is me we are talking about, I can never resist a gorgeous highlighter!! opps!
The packaging is so stunning, It really stands out and looks so beautiful on my makeup vanity. I always feel like when a product has pretty packaging you just know its going to be good. Anyone else think this?!
They have 2 shades to choose from, which I feel will be perfect for every skin tone, one is definitely more for fair to light skin tones and the other one is more medium to deep but that doesn’t mean you can’t have both like me, you can use them for lots of different things and not just on the cheeks. I love using highlighters as eyeshadow to add that little extra something to the eyes, I also love adding it to my body like shoulders and collar-bone etc, I mean why not glow from head to toe!.
Moondust – a glistening pearlescent oyster
Stardust – a creamy champagne gold
Moondust is definitely more for lighter skin tones and what I think suits me more, Im really loving pinky toned highlighters at the moment over gold, which I thought would never happen, I have always been a gold highligher kind of girl, But moondust just looks so gorgeous on fair skin tones.
Stardust is more of a champagne gold, that typical gold that everyone loves and never gets old or goes out of fashion.
Can we just talk about how beautiful the packaging is and the detail of the pan, I love the stars it’s so cute!! when I posted these pictures on my Instagram literally everyone said how cute the packaging was and the stars really made it stand out to others. which I completely agree on.
Now on to the actual formula, it is super pigmented and so smooth to touch, just swiping my finger in had so much pigment. It applied really nicely and blended into the skin which I love in a highlighter, I hate ones that just lay on top of the skin and show all your texture, that’s just a no no for me.
Here I mixed a little bit of both shades which looked really nice, I just found the gold one was a little bit to gold for what I wanted on this particular day.
I personally love these and think they’re gorgeous, and everything I want in a highlighter, a creamy smooth powder, which is pigmented and applies/blends well and that also nicely melts into the skin, plus because you only need a tiny but these will last you ages so they’re well worth £26.
I’m desperate to try the new Bamboo bronzers they have also recently launched! I am seriously loving highlighter and bronzers at the moment I can’t seem to get enough and I dont want summer to end!! I’m just not ready to give up my dewy and bronzed skin!!
I definitely need to try more makeup from Ciate London, as these havent disappointed me, the bronzers, the glow- to illuminating blush and the dewy stix are now on my wish list!!
What’s even better is these are 100%
Have you tried these new Ciate glow to highlighters? let me know what ones your favourite.
As always thanks for reading Beauties!! xo
