Hey All,
I picked up these new L’Oreal skin clay masks last weekend, literally everyone has been talking about these lately and raving about them and now I think I know why…..keep on reading for all the details and my first impressions.
So these are new from L’Oreal, and they have 3 clay masks to choose from a Purity mask, detox mask and glow mask! They are currently on offer in boots for £5 but I’m not sure how long the offer will last, but these are normally only £7.99 which I still think is a really good price for a face mask especially for how much product you get, I actually think these are bigger then the famous glam glow masks.
I do love a face mask especially clay, I just prefer these type of masks, one of my favourite detox masks is the glam glow supermud and when I read up about the loreal detox mask I knew I had to try it out and see how they compare.
I only picked up the detox and glow mask, as I do suffer with dry skin I try to stay away from masks and skin care that mattifies for obvious reasons.
Detox mask – what It contains and the benefits

Purity mask
This mask purifies and mattifies and contains eucalyptus extract which is known for it’s s purifying properties, this works deep in the pores and aims to leave skin looking purified and matte looking without drying the skin.

Benefits and results
My overall thoughts and first impressions
It’s recommended to apply 2-3 times a week, leave on for 10 minutes and remove with a wet towel or warm water.
So as you can see they claim to have some great benefits and results and only after one weeks use, although I’ve only been using the 2 masks for a week I like to use skincare for at least 4 weeks before I can see if it agrees with me and if I really love a product. But the good news is these didn’t break me out straight away or give me a rash after I used them, so at least I know my skin agrees with them, my skin also felt so soft after I used it, I did a multi mask so I used the detox where I mostly break out which is my chin area and t zone and then I used the glow mask on my cheeks and side of my forehead, the areas I get more dry patches. I left these on for 10-15 mins and then washed off with a hot cloth, they came off easily and my skin felt so nice afterwards, it just felt more refreshed, clean and so soft, so I like the Immediate results after I wash the mask off. I can’t wait to keep using these and see if they really help with my skin, and make any difference to blemishes and scaring etc but be warned they do have a strong fragrance, I was a bit worried at first as I have sensitive skin but after a while you get used to it and it’s actually a nice floral smell, but like I said I can’t really give a full review on these just yet but I wanted to do a little post so you could decide for yourself if you want to purchase these and also get them why they’re still on offer.
I’m so happy that brands like L’Oreal are bringing out more affordable skincare, face masks can be really expensive, I rarely see a good mask for under £15/20 so I’m hoping these will live up to my expectations and be my new favourite face masks.
I hope my post has been helpful to anyone interested in these new masks and if you do decide to pick any up or have already used them let me know what you think below.
As always Thanks for reading loves

I absolutely love the detox mask.. Been using it for sometime now. What a difference.. Love love love xoxo
Really oh that’s good news I’ve only been using it for about a week now so can’t wait to keep using it and hopefully see more results 🙂 xo
I’ve really been hearing a lot about these and I think I might have to try them for myself! Lovely post! 🙂

Oh yes definitely pick them up while they’re on offer, such a good deal for a face mask I’m sure you will love them! Xo
I picked up the Glow Mask this week and I’m yet to try it, but I really want to try the Purity Mask too. I’m not a lover of charcoal masks really (I only own one in my crazy mask stash)but I can’t wait to give the Glow Mask a go. I hope these live up to the Origins masks because I need a reasonably priced mask favourite in my life.

I’m sure you will love it, I think they are really good for the price, I’ve tried so many detox masks and some don’t work at all, I’ve never tried origins though so I can’t compare I’m afraid but they’re definitely worth a go. I need to try out the glow mask a bit more but it does make my skin feel amazing xo
